JOCcooks is a private chef passionate about serving up exceptional food for your event, whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, or a celebration with friends and family. My services span across Ireland, with flexibility to travel to various locations, including Dublin, Wicklow, Limerick, Kerry, Kilkenny, Cork, Galway, and more. With over 15 years of expertise in the food industry, I am dedicated to crafting tailored food experiences that ensure your event is truly unforgettable.

JOCcooks-John O' Connor is a native of Nenagh, Co Tipperary, and is from a family with a long history in the food business.

 

I completed the comprehensive 3 month course in Ballymaloe, East Cork in 2013. This gave me a deep appreciation, a wide interest and the necessary practical skills to further develop his passion for food. 

 

I took the opportunity to apply these skills when working abroad in New York and London from

 2013 - 2016. I varied my culinary experiences by harnessing new skills at a Japanese restaurant, agency work in high-end & casual restaurants and city street food vendors, and The Standard Hotel NY whilst also making sure I kept up with the more traditional cuisine he grew up with. I have a passion for food and hospitality. I have a wealth of knowledge and over 15 years experience to cater to your desired menu requests. 

International experience, with the flavour of home is at the heart of the dining experience JOCcooks offers in this intimate safe environment cheffing service in your home or chosen venue. I offer a wide range of catering needs. (Birthdays, private dining, weddings, wedding anniversaries, corporate, BBQ’s and much more).
